Singer-songwriter Tim Bendzko is the musical star guest at the 52nd “Ball des Sports” organized by Deutsche Sporthilfe. The 37-year-old Berliner (“Just save the world for a moment”) will perform in the Festhalle Frankfurt on January 21.

Bendzko has a special connection to sport through his song “Hoch” about the Olympic Games in Tokyo. He has also been a member of the Board of Trustees of the DFL Foundation’s Sporthilfe partner since 2019. The “Ball des Sports” returns to Frankfurt/Main after 17 years, numerous medal winners from Olympic Games, Paralympics as well as World and European Championships are expected.
The benefit event last took place in Wiesbaden for 14 years. The ball usually brings in a high six-figure sum for Sporthilfe.
