First-line patrols went to the hospital facility in Prague 5 on Monday afternoon, according to initial information, a man in camouflage pants was supposed to have pulled out a knife and displayed a firearm while guarding the area.
On Monday afternoon, Prague police officers went to the premises of the hospital facility in Kartouzská Street in Prague 5.
After a previous verbal altercation over parking inside the premises, the man was supposed to pull out a knife and show a firearm to security. In the end, despite the security warning, the suspect drove his vehicle through another entrance to the premises.
Summoned policemen from PMJ and OHS II, in ballistic protection like long guns, under the command of the police commander from the emergency motorized unit, had to inspect the building.
It wasn’t long before a man of that description was found inside and restrained at gunpoint. During the search, they found two knives and an edged firearm that was legally held.
The 61-year-old man is currently suspected of committing the crime of disorderly conduct, which, if convicted, could lead to up to two years behind bars. At the present time, we are dealing with the entire case and are investigating all the circumstances.
