Frankfurt police are looking for perpetrators of car vandalism
A conspicuously dressed man reacted to a car in Frankfurt. When someone confronts him, he tries a strange excuse.
Frankfurt – The first tip for criminals is often: behave inconspicuously. A recommendation that a man in the Praunheim district of Frankfurt did not heed on Sunday, December 18.
At around 8:30 p.m., the perpetrator caught a witness on Ludwig-Landmann-Strasse as he hit the driver’s window of a parked car with a carpenter’s hammer. That’s what the police said Frankfurt announced in a press release. When the witness wanted to confront the man, he said he “just wanted to pee” here.

Apart from the fact that this is not exactly the fine English way, the man then fled on foot in the direction of Westhausen. After the witness had called the police at home and returned to the scene of the crime, the perpetrator had also arrived there. Fled again.
So far, the search has been unsuccessful, police said. In the vicinity of the crime scene, however, a patrol was able to secure the carpenter’s hammer, which the perpetrator probably used.

The refugee is said to have been between 28 and 35 years old and 1.65 to 1.70 meters tall. In addition to his dark clothes, he is said to have worn a prayer robe and a bobble hat.
