Norway at the wage peak – here they earned more
We are currently in a labor market with record-low unemployment, where employers are struggling to get workers.
More workers have thus become more aware of the benefits they receive now that they have taken over. Getting a good salary is particularly highlighted.
The job seeker platform Lensa has therefore obtained the average annual salary globally and found the ten best-paid countries.
In first place came Switzerland, which has one average annual salary of around DKK 895,000. The tax-friendly country has also become a favorite nation among wealthy Norwegians who want to pay less in taxes.
Elsewhere we find Norway, which is generally an expensive country to live in. Therefore, salaries in Norway are also high, with an average annual salary of DKK 832,700 in 2021, according to Lensa.
In third place came Luxembourg, which was also voted a good alternative for young career-minded people. The country has a good amount of jobs available. The average salary in the country was around DKK 803,000 in 2021.
Otherwise, Lensa considers the following ten countries to be the best countries for «young professionals». In order from first place: USA, Luxemburg, Romania, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Hungary, Denmark and Poland.
