Russia continues to receive chips needed for missiles from the US and EU
Despite the approval, Russia continues to receive from Western countries the chips needed for cruise missiles, owned in the aggregate. investigations Reuters and the British Royal Joint Institute for Defense Studies.
As investigators have established, from April to November, Russia received $777 million worth of chips from the United States and some European countries, including Germany and Estonia. For the implementation of this procedure, firms-“gaskets” were selected.
The Reuters material details one of the firms – the Turkish Smart Trading Ltd, founded by Grigory Grigoriev, CEO of the Russian logistics company Novelco. It is noted that the company does not hide its goals. So, in September, Novelco presented a seminar for its customers “How to find alternative ways to deliver goods to Russia.” Grigoriev himself stated that Novelco opened a branch in Turkey, from where it ships goods from the US and the EU to Russia, without observing trade restrictions.
At the same time, as the authors of the investigation note, in order to bypass the bypass of Russia, it is not always necessary even to turn to third countries for help. Thus, the Russian company “Radiant Group”, which appeared under arrest in the near future, imported chips, with a high degree of probability of detecting another legal entity, Titan-Micro, which continues to purchase foreign semiconductors. According to Reuters, the offices of the two companies are located on the same floor of a business center on Profsoyuznaya Street in Moscow.
Earlier, Ukrainian citizens of Ukraine have repeatedly stated that they find foreign chips in the wreckage of a rocket that Russia launches on the territory, which, according to the imposed sanctions, should not be supplied to the Russian Federation.
