Putin said that Russia will not allow anyone to denigrate its heroes
Russia, it is not possible for anyone as president to denigrate and slander the heroes who adhere to patriotic duty, Vladimir Putin said in a video message on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Russian society “Knowledge”.
The President assumes that the contribution of society to the national, sovereign development of Russia, all its regions and in all areas will only grow.
“Including, of course, the protection of rights about our ancestors, about the trials of the past, about our goals, about everyone who is now fighting for the Motherland, fulfilling a high, sacred patriotic duty,” quotes head of state, the press service of the Kremlin.
Putin also reiterated that Russia does not necessarily denigrate and slander its heroes, but first of all demands against disinformation and lies and will present “solid knowledge, truth and love” to the country.
The President has previously stated that every Russian fighter in the advanced verification of special operations is a hero for him personally and for all Russians. For a significant amount, he presented the highest awards to the fighters who showed exceptional valor and courage during the historic operation.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denatification of Ukraine. During special operations, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye economies. The premises of these territories entered Russia, and martial law was introduced in the regions on October 19.
