In Toulouse, a racist tag discovered on a bar before the arrival of LFI deputy Carlos Bilongo
LFI deputy for Val d’Oise Carlos Martens Bilongo targeted by racist inscriptions in Toulouse. The Rhino, the bar in the St-Cyprien district which was to host a public meeting on the high cost of living in which he was to participate this Saturday with other Nupes deputies, was vandalized.
“Let them go back to Africa”
The facade of the establishment was tagged with these words: “let them go back to Africa”.
A reference to the incident thatlistened to the National Assembly beginning of November. The RN deputy for Gironde Grégoire de Fournas had launched in the Hemicycle “that he (s) return (s) to Africa” while Carlos Martens Bilongo was at the podium and spoke about the fate of migrants in the Mediterranean.
Proposals that have value a 15-day exclusion to MP RN. The deputy of the 4th district of Haute-Garonne relayed the facts on his Twitter account.
The deputies of France Insoumise speak “of intimidation of far-right activists” and specify that the public meeting scheduled for this Saturday cannot be held at the bar “Le Rhino”. A public rally will therefore be organized at Place du Ravelin from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. against the high cost of living and against racism.
Already intimidation Wednesday in Bordeaux
Deputy Carlos Martens Bilongo has already been the subject ofbullies this week. On Wednesday evening, a conference in which he took part with the deputy Louis Boyard at Bordeaux Montaigne University was disrupted by far-right activists. About twenty people hooded, armed with iron bars and uttering racist slogans tried to enter the room, according to a press release from the University which condemned the facts. The police had to intervene “to disperse the agitators”.
