Cured of his knee injury, Guerschon Yabusele could return to Real Madrid this Thursday evening against Monaco in the EuroLeague.
Victim of a sprained knee in early November against Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Guerschon Yabusele (2.01 m, 26 years old) is cured and could return to the courts against AS Monaco this Thursday evening in the EuroLeague as explained by his coach Chus Mateo. On the other hand, the Madrid club is still uncertain about Petr Cornelie, feverish, but also Gabriel Deck and Walter Tavares.
“Yabusele has been training with the team all week and maybe he can play. Cornelie has had a fever since Sunday evening, even though he trained today (yesterday Wednesday). And Deck and Tavares are in high demand, they carry a heavy load of games, but hopefully they can be there against Monaco.”said Chus Mateo in a pre-match press conference at Mark.
Since the start of the season, the French international has posted 8.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists for a 9.3 rating in the EuroLeague. In Liga Endesa, the native of Dreux has 10.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists for 13.2 evaluation and could bring a real breath of fresh air to his team on position 4.
