Prague Airport comes out with a Christmas spot with Bolek Polívka
A place where the destinies of employees and passengers meet. A place of farewell and the joy of meeting. A place that in 85 years has experienced steep falls, but also happiness. This is what Bolek Polívka and his daughter Anna are trying to figure out at the airport site, which follows the 85th anniversary of the airport.
“Both know the Prague airport very well, Bol Polívka traveled the whole world with the theater, his children studied and are studying in the world. We are happy that, as part of our cooperation, both actors have decided to donate part of the fee to their charity projects,” says Pavlína Musilová, manager of marketing and corporate identity at Prague Airport. The advertising spot will be viewable on social networks, directly at the airport or online.
The spot was created in collaboration with the writer and director David Laňka, who signed the script. He did not want to reflect on the end of the year, but rather on the destinies that the airport has been hiding in itself for all these years and that passengers are not very aware of: “The airport literally copies the destinies of our republic, its inhabitants. It has experienced booms and busts. The happy and fateful moments of the lives of millions of people are connected with it. It is a place where people meet and say goodbye. The airport is actually such an essence of life. It’s a place where you just have to stop for a moment, observe life in it, and you have an abundance of stimuli and details, which they released for ten Christmas spots, but literally for the Infinite series,” specified David Laňka.
Prague Airport celebrated its 85th anniversary on April 4 this year. The rich history, which includes hundreds of thousands of landings, tens of millions of checked-in passengers and historical twists, was recalled by an interactive exhibition, a special excursion or a special website www.letisteslavi85.cz. Here you can see videos with witnesses about the history of the airport, in which they recall their most powerful experiences and thus accompany us in their stories throughout the history of the airport from its opening to the present day. These videos complement a series of special podcasts with former employees, pilots or even navigators. Visitors will thus find the history, current operations and future development plans of the airport in one place.
