Hanover. In a turning accident in the southern part of the city, a driver hit a pedestrian on Sunday. The 28-year-old had to be taken to the hospital for multiple operations. The police are now looking for witnesses who can give information about the accident.

According to police, the accident happened around 4:15 p.m. The 52-year-old driver drives on Geibelstrasse coming from Jordanstrasse. “Then they wanted to turn right into Sallstrasse in the direction of Marienstrasse in their Smart Forfour,” says Natalia Shapovalova.
Pedestrian wants to cross the street and is hit
There was a collision with the 28-year-old pedestrian who was crossing the road from the oncoming direction. An ambulance took the injured pedestrian to the hospital.
