The volume of funds transfers from Russia to Kazakhstan will grow in the future
In October, 42.7 billion tenge (or 5.6 billion rubles) were sent from Russia to Kazakhstan using the money transfer system (MTS) Zolotaya Korona, Unistream and Contact, writes RBC with reference to the data of the National Bank of Kazakhstan. Users have lost the most transfers since the beginning of 2022 – 123.4 transactions. These indicators in monetary terms exceed the results of October last year by 13 times, in the number of transactions – by 5 times.
Russia continues to lead in terms of Kazakhstan’s income from abroad – its share of the total amount is 57.5%. In second place in terms of the amount of transfers is Kyrgyzstan, from which 10.4 billion tenge (14%) was sent to Kazakhstan in October, the publication of the magazine.
September after August recession again began transfers through the FTS from Russia to Kazakhstan are growing: in the first month of autumn, funds were sent to the republic from the Russian Federation for 36 billion tenge (or 4.3 billion rubles), which is 8.4% more in tenge and 2.9% more – in rubles than in August.
In total, in the previous quarter, money was sent from Russia to Kazakhstan for 123.9 billion rubles, or in ruble equivalent for 15.6 billion rubles. This is 5.3% less than in the second quarter in tenge and 7.9% in ruble terms.
