Call the SAMU upstream
the university hospital recommends contacting 15 before going to the emergency room. The hospital also recalls that the priority of care depends on the “clinical severity and not the time of arrival” of the patient. During the call, the SAMU will be able to assess and, if necessary, direct their interlocutors to the emergency department.
the University Hospital Center also recommends going to their usual doctor or to the child’s pediatrician. In addition, the CHU recalls the useful medical contacts in Toulouse such as SOS Médecins (05 61 33 00 00) and the medical centers on duty: La Faourette (05 34 46 54 76) and the Cité de la Santé (05 61 59 22 12).
