Toulouse: Music or gifts… a weekend dedicated to local talent
the Cobalt market returns on December 3 and 4 (at the Hall Cobalt) with its flagship creators, new nuggets, workshops for children… Enough to give plenty of ideas for Christmas gifts! And Saturday night, the Metronum will welcome the winners of the first edition of the support system Focus of Opus : Fulu (electrobrass), The Idde (rap) and Melanie Lesage (pop folk).
the Focus of Opus is a device imagined by the Toulouse musical webzine Music Ops. “With this device, we want to provide advice and tools to the artists supported to promote their professionalization, in all humility” summarizes Rémy, co-president of the association.
Free concert at Metronum for the three winners…
The jury made up of the partners and organizers of the Focus of Opus (The Metronum, Bibam production, Capitol Sphere, Sozinho) selected three names: Fulu, The Idde and Melanie Lesage. These three winners were supported throughout the year. “Support provides us with technical and human resources to promote ourselves. In meeting and exchange with other emerging projects. Without forgetting a certain visibility on the Toulouse scale throughout the year and with this concert!” explains Charlie, composer and sousaphonist of Fulu.
The concert this Saturday, December 3 to Metronum is the big event of this first edition of the Focus of Opus : “This date is very important for us. This is the real launch of our brand new musical project that we have been working on all year”
says singer Mélanie Lesage. Another place, other talents… Building on the success of its first edition, the Cobalt market returns on December 3 and 4 at the Hall Cobalt
(Building 9, 55 Av. Louis Breguet). Discover 31 Toulouse designers at the
Hall Cobalt“Far from traditional designer markets the Cobalt Market makes the choice of a sharp selection around fashion (women/men), decoration, food, art of living, children, home” explains Sophie, at the initiative of the event. Thus, 31 creators from various backgrounds were selected, “including 15 new nuggets to discover”,
she points out.Children’s side in addition to creators, workshops “cake design” withSweet Rascals are scheduled for Saturday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. (registrations by message on the ‘Instagram@sweet.canailles
). And for snacks, Dumbo will be present for lunch on Saturday and dinner on Sunday, with XXL burgers. A stand will also offer coffees, teas, snacks and soft drinks…
