About 250 people took part in the LGV demonstration in Feugarolles, this Saturday, November 26.
Saturday morning, in Feugarolles, more than 250 people gathered at the call of Charles d’Huyvetter, president of the association “Very great vigilance in Albret”. Despite the bitter cold and the fog, from 10 am, the speakers developed the arguments against the establishment of the Bordeaux-Toulouse railway line (GPSO). In the arguments developed, it is a question of “defending the collective and individual interests of the members”. Representatives of the territories of the Basque Country, Landes, Gironde, Haute Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne and Lot-et-Garonne had made the trip.
Many elected officials present
Several speakers recalled the issues and the economic repercussions at both the local and regional levels. The elected officials and representatives of the municipalities were also present and particularly attentive to the explanations of the meanders followed by this project “with still very uncertain funding”.
After the reception of the mayor of Feugarolles Jean-François Garrabos, R. Legros, for the Landes, underlined “the evolution of financing”.
