Budapest’s largest circular ice rink has opened
The Csepel Ice Park has opened to the public again, where visitors can enjoy three ice rinks, a special ice corridor and gastronomic experiences on more than 2,000 square meters from Friday for more than two months, expected until January 31, 2023.
Visitors can enjoy a 25×30 meter large track, a 10×20 meter smaller track and a double-connecting 250 meter long, 2.5 meter wide ice river. The ice rink can also be accessed and walked through via an illuminated wooden bridge.
Ice skating lessons will continue to be free for Csepel schoolchildren every weekday between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. according to a group schedule. The general public can use the track on weekdays between 2 and 9 p.m. and on weekends between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Non-Csepel residents Non-Csepel residents receive a HUF 2,000 discount, and Csepel residents receive a 40 entrance discount, so it costs them HUF 1,200. Renting skates costs HUF 1,000, and sharpening skates costs HUF 1,500. For members of the Csepel organization of the National Association of Large Families (NOE), the entrance fee and skate rental both cost HUF 600, and skate sharpening costs HUF 700.
