Building overflown by the cable car in Toulouse: the owner attacks Tisséo for nuisance
Owner of a building overflown by the Toulouse cable car, which houses a residence for students, a mutual attack Tisséo for nuisance.
The procedure had not been rumored until now. Like the Urban Travel Plan, the urban plan, the Tour Occitanie before it or the 3rd metro line soon, the cable car, Téléo, in operation since May, will go through the administrative court. The hearing is scheduled for Friday.
It is the owners of 66, chemin du Vallon, at the foot of the Rangueil hospital, a building overflown by Téléo, who are at the origin of the appeal: the mutual group MACSF (mutual insurance for health professionals), the syndicate of co-owners and the Association for the dissemination of preventive medicine (ADIMEP). The mutual owns and manages a student residence there.
Noise
Joined yesterday, the group explains that the cable car has “a significant impact on the property, generating noise, visual and annoyance for the occupants, as well as a depreciation of the value of this building”. The cable car “has an impact on the lives of tenants”, assures the MACSF, while the building is intended “to accommodate students, particularly in medicine, in the best conditions” and that “its performance” for the benefit of members is also impacted. Finally, the mutual, which has not been compensated, regrets “that no prior consultation was carried out directly by Tisséo”.
It is not certain that the approach will be crowned with success. According to our information, the public rapporteur would have concluded that the appeal should be dismissed. Téléo was declared of public utility in 2019. The owners of four or five houses flown over were compensated, Tisséo had previously said.
