Toulouse: in Linéo buses, get off on demand!
The descent on demand will be extended from November 25 in all Linéo de Tisséo buses. A service that helps to fight against insecurity, especially among women.
As of Friday 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the on-demand service will be extended to all Linéos, between 10 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. This service had been on trial for a year on Linéo 1 and 2 in the evening. On the occasion of this day, Tisséo will be present at the crossroads meeting organized on Friday November 25 from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. in the square Charles-de-Gaulle. A collector’s ticket published in 100,000 copies will be put on sale to raise awareness among travellers.
Experienced since 2017
Since 2017, Tisséo Voyageurs has been associated with the National Plan to Combat Sexist Harassment and Sexual Violence in Public Transport. The descent on demand is part of a series of actions implemented to fight, on a daily basis, against all forms of violence. The drop-off on demand between two bus stops provides a new weapon against gender-based and sexual violence in public spaces, by offering any traveler in a situation of insecurity the possibility of getting off between two stops, in order to be closer to its destination.
