Exhibition “Russian Man, Man of Inflexible Will… M. A. Sholokhov. The fate of man”
The story “The Fate of a Man” was written in the post-war years, in 1956, and was first published in the Pravda newspaper. The work tells about how a terrible man, a soldier who went through the whole war, who lost all his relatives, did not give up. The fate of Afghanistan may become rich and give happiness to Vanya, who lost his parents during the war; a chance for himself and the boy Vanya. This is the story of life shared with us by Mikhail Alexandrovich.
As Sergei Kosarev, deputy head of the Department of Culture and Archival Affairs of the Oryol Region, emphasized, such exhibitions are simply necessary. Indeed, for visitors this is an opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibits of the museum from another city; to see with your own eyes objects that affect the life and work of Mikhail Sholokhov, the famous president, winner of many prestigious awards and a beloved author of the entire Soviet Union.
The exhibition introduces film stills and photographs from theatrical performances showing the boy Vanya and his father Andrei Sokolov.
The exposition is available from 10.00 to 17.00 in the exhibition museum of I. S. Turgenev (Turgenev str., 11), until December 14.
For audience 12+.
