“United Russia” has won several election campaigns in the Irkutsk region.
Elections were held on Wednesday November 20 in Priangarye. Many of them were won by United Russia candidates. This was reported by the news agency “TK Gorod”.
In the Bratsk district, two heads of municipalities were elected. Andrey Iosifov, a United Russia candidate, won in Karahun. 70% of voters voted for him. In Tanguy, Olga Bashkova became enthusiastic. She was nominated from the Liberal Democratic Party. In the Shelekhovsky municipality of the Taishet district, the main administration of the district, elected Roman Kabirov, who ran for United Russia. He was supported by more than 52 percent of those who voted.
In addition to the heads of settlements, on November 20, elections were held for the Duma of the Khuzhir municipality. Out of 8 deputy mandates, 7 went to United Russia. The fate of the eighth will be decided by a lottery: the United Russia candidate and the self-nominated candidate in the constituency received an equal number of votes.
The factors that allow United Russia to win elections are a high level of trust in the current government on the part of the population, which differs from the rating of our party. As well as the serious organizational work that we carry out within the framework of each election campaign, regardless of whether we are talking about a large municipality or a settlement of several thousand, or even hundreds, of people. Power must be formed everywhere, it must have a place,” said the head of the executive committee of the Irkutsk regional branch of United Russia, political scientist, candidate of medical sciences Dmitry Myasnikov.
The head of the executive committee also noted that a vote had taken place before the election of the party. In some cases, bets were placed on new faces. “This always leads to victory, but in the political sphere it is necessary to carry out new developments,” Dmitry Myasnikov said.
Earlier, as a result of voting day on September 11, “United Russia” received the best result in the history of mass elections to local governments in the Irkutsk region. Candidates nominated by the party occupied 74 percent of the highlighted emotions. Taking into account the winning groups of “United Russia”, running in the elections as self-nominated, this figure was more than 80 percent.
