Veil and boater
Princess Charlene, dressed in a long, immaculate white coat Akris and wearing a black boater, signed a comeback. Stephanie of Monaco, the sister of Prince Albert II, opted for a red suit, the color of the kingdom. As for Charlotte Casiragui, daughter of Caroline of Monaco and ambassador Chanel, she was naturally dressed by the fashion house from head to toe. Her buttoned tweed dress was accessorized with a handbag and a veil, which came to dress her face.
A Prepared Family
Very smiling, Tatiana Santo Domingo appeared on the arm of her husband Andrea Casiraghi. She, too, opted for an elegant black headgear, and a matching tweed ensemble. Pauline Ducruet, fashion designer and daughter of Stéphanie de Monaco, chose an oversized brown suit from Acne Studios. Her 24-year-old half-sister, Camille Gottlieb, was dressed in a black and white suit, and also opted for a veil. Black dress buttoned up to the collar and matching headband, Alexandra de Hanover opted for a preppy look. Finally, Marie Chevallier was seen, all dressed in pale pink, laughing out loud with her sister-in-law, Pauline Ducruet.
Course of the festivities
The National Day, also known as the Prince’s Day, was launched with a mass and a Te Deum at the Immaculate Notre-Dame Cathedral in Monaco. The Grimaldi clan then specified the subjects of the kingdom from the balcony, and around the Palace. The festivities ended with a gala evening, as well as a show, at the Grimaldi Forum. Princess Charlene then swapped her white outfit for a midnight blue evening dress. Princess Caroline wore a Chanel dress with sheer sleeves. Both have worn the red and white ribbon of the Order of Saint-Charles with the star of the Grand Cross of the Order of Saint-Charles pinned to the waist (highest honorary order of the Principality, equivalent to the Legion of honor). After a day under the sun on the Mediterranean coast, the evening in the cultural center on Princess Grace Kelly Avenue concluded a successful national celebration.
