Index – Interior – Two men were arrested in Budapest on suspicion of theft and vandalism
On the night of November 13, 2022, the Activity Control Center of the Budapest Police Headquarters received a report about two men wearing masks, who were a IV. they broke into a district restaurant. When the police arrived, the suspected perpetrators started to flee, but none of them succeeded; the patrols cornered him, he said police.
The 23-year-old T. András was arrested by the Újpest police in IV. He was brought to the District Police Station, then interrogated as a suspect and taken into custody.
Three days later, his companion, 23-year-old L. Zoltán, joined the suspect. After the police issued an arrest warrant against the man, he appeared in person at the district police station.
The two men were found to have damaged a car in IV. before breaking the door of the restaurant. in the district, from which a backpack and various tools – a bicycle telescope, a child seat, a mixer – were stolen. The night was not over then; a XIII. they also pried open the door of the district gas station, and then stole candy from the store.
The two men were interrogated by the Újpest detectives on the basis of the well-founded suspicion of attempted theft, two-degree theft, and vandalism. The court ordered the arrest of András T., and in the case of his companion, house arrest with a tracking device.
