VOUGEOT: Four personalities and a chapter
Dominique Faure and Marc Fesneau, members of the government, as well as the very media Flavie Flament and Benoît Magimel, were the guests of honor of the knights of the brotherhood of Tastevin, this Saturday, November 19 at the château du clos de Vougeot.
The Three Glorious Years are in full swing with tastings this Friday and Saturday at the Palais des Congrès in Beaune – the Great Burgundy Wines Festival – and the sale of wines from the Hospices Civils de Beaune this Sunday in the Beaune halls.
This Saturday, November 19, 2022, the traditional chapter of the brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevin took place at the Château du Clos de Vougeot. Grand Master Jean-François Curie welcomed Marc Fesneau, Minister of Agriculture, and Dominique Faure, Secretary of State for Rural Affairs, then, in the company of Myriel Porteous, sub-prefect of Beaune, and Thiébault Huber, president of the Confederation of Appellations and Winegrowers of Burgundy (CAVB), introduced them to the winery and the salon d’honneur of the château.
The members of the government were joined by the sponsors of the wine sale, the actor Benoît Magimel who plays in the film “Paiction” by director Albert Serra, released on November 9, and the television and radio host Flavie Flament, whose program “Jour J” on RTL monopolizes the audience podium after 8 p.m.
Accompanied by the grand master, the four personalities entered the large cellar where all the guests were waiting for them. Benoît Magimel quickly eclipsed the field of photographers while Minister Marc Fesneau somewhat stole the show from Flavie Flament in this universe where Bacchus, vines and wine are celebrated.
There is no doubt that Benoît Magimel and Flavie Flament will shine this Sunday during the sale of the charity piece, a barrel of Grand Cru Corton bringing together three terroirs of the famous hill, the result of which will be attributed to the associations Princess Margot and Vision du monde, defending the cause of childhood.
