DIJON: Second edition of the Way of Talents
On November 29, the innovative show dedicated to the orientation and promotion of professions will be dedicated to the catering, cooking and service professions. It will be held at the Cité de la Gastronomie.
The regional catering and hotel and catering sectors are structuring for the territory whose tourism is based on the local cultural and gastronomic offer. However, the professions in these sectors currently present a lack of attractiveness, generating recurring tensions on the labor market and preventing companies from supporting their development as well as possible.
In order to open up the prospects of schoolchildren and job seekers towards these professions, the Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications Food, taste, tourism / Creativ’ and its partners wanted to offer a second edition of the Voie des Talents.
The last one, the concept has been successfully tested in connection with the food processing trades and customer relations in the tourism sector. This year it is applied to the gastronomy professions: the catering, cooking and service professions.
