Drama at Carrefour shopping center in CalaisFriday, November 18, 2022. A 64-year-old man died on the spot after making a faintness. Firefighters arrived at the scene and tried to save his life, but were unsuccessful.

In cardiorespiratory arrest

Shortly after 8 p.m., the emergency services arrived at the Carrefour shopping center, located on avenue Georges Guynemer in Calais. They were called for a person who had a cardio respiratory arrest, within the mall.

They tried everything to save the victim, but in vain. Despite their rapid arrival, and the care provided, “the 64-year-old male sexual victim was declared dead by the SMUR doctor”, indicates the Fire and Rescue Service of Pas-de-Calais (SDIS 62).

The police were also present at the scene.
