The parkour society in Bulgaria is collecting signatures for the construction of a training park
The parkour society in Bulgaria, in the person of the “Recreate Sofia Sports Club” association, organized a petition to collect signatures for the construction of a parkour park in Sofia. The reason is that the athletes who practice this extremely fast-growing sport do not have a suitable training place.
Proof of the increasingly rapidly growing popularity of the newest discipline in the gymnastics family is Bulgaria’s home in the World Cup round in 2021 and 2022. The next 2023 Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation will once again host the world elite.
The idea is that the facility will be built in West Park, Ilinden district in the capital and will be located on an area of 750 square meters.
“The Parkour community in Bulgaria needs equipment to train on. For the second year in a row, the Parkour World Cup is being held in Bulgaria, and the competitors have no place to practice their tricks and combinations. We are supported by the Gymnastics Federation and have access to the gyms Like any large society with a hybrid focus on sports and culture, we wish to finally have a place where we can practice our favorite sport. From “Recreate Sofia” I want to change that. You can support us by signing this petition. Parkour the park will have an approximate size of 750 square meters and will be located in Sofia – Zapaden Park, Ilinden district Facebook.
If you want to support the petition, for which 500 of the required 1000 signatures have already been collected, you can do so on the Facebook page of the Sports Club Recreate – Sofia Association.
