The same year, she won the gold medal in the 200m backstroke at the Monaco International Swimming Meeting. Mare Nostrum, and meets for the first time the gaze of Prince Albert. A shoulder injury will put an end to his professional career which will end before the Beijing Games.
Charlene of Monaco pays tribute to Grace Kelly
If the commitment of Charlene of Monaco has just been honored by Prince Albert, the Princess had, a few days before paid tribute to the mother of her husband. Indeed, on November 3, during the Princess Grace Awards 2022, the mother of Jacques and Gabriella sported a sublime necklace, La Vie en rose, by designer Lorenz Baumer. A creation that has at its heart a special pink stone called the “Diamond Grace”, carved by Maison Mazerea and which symbolizes the heritage of Grace Kelly tragically disappeared in a car accident forty years ago.
