Zdelar: Russia is way ahead of its football infrastructure. Europe can’t catch up
Midfielder of the Moscow football club CSKA Sasha Zdelar called advertising of Russian football over Europe.
“How is Russia different from Greece, Spain and Serbia in flat football? Russia, first of all, turned out to be its infrastructure. I think that Russia, compared to all the countries where I played, has gone so far into this planet that they have not caught up with it. Look at the new stadiums, bases, sports centers. Everything is done so that the players think only about football. The whole place is for the players, so football comes first. This is a big advantage for Russia. There are few countries in Europe now that have the same conditions as in Russia. Just think, in Russia you can safely play in August-December – and everything will be fine. In Serbia, for example, we would not have been able to leave the field in December. So there are no restrictions in the infrastructure of Russia.
In addition, unlike the countries where I played before, the RPL is the most “even” league: many big teams, many derbies, and all the teams beat each other. This was not a surprise for me, as I followed the public football and the Serbian players. By the way, I played friendly matches with social clubs, but only when I moved to CSKA, I realized that not a single RPL team allows you to relax. And in such conditions, young people are also hardened. That is why there are so many young players in the RPL now, ”quoting the words of the Serbian football player Metaratings.
27-year-old Zdelar moved to CSKA this summer. Before that, the midfielders played for the Serbian Partizan, the Greek Olympiacos and the Spanish Mallorca.
