Norske opens twenty new routes from Oslo and Copenhagen
Copenhagen, November 17 (EFE).- Low-cost airline Norwegian announced on Thursday the launch of twenty new routes from Denmark and Norway, with Spanish destinations such as Madrid and Tenerife.
The Norwegian airline will operate eleven new routes from Oslo airports, with Tenerife as one of the destinations, and a dozen from Copenhagen, including Bergen, as well as Madrid and Tenerife.
Norwegian, which operates routes with a focus on the next summer season, will also increase the frequency on other existing routes and convert seasonal routes to fast year-round routes.
With the new launches, Norwegian will fly to 61 destinations from Copenhagen and 114 from Oslo next summer.

Norwegian has faced financial problems in recent years, exacerbated by the grounding of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in 2019 and problems with Rolls-Royce engines, and the coronavirus crisis.
The airline completed a double restructuring in Ireland and Norway in May 2021 after creditors agreed to renegotiate the debt from 80,000 million kroner to between 16,000 and 18,000 million (7,856 to 1,571 and 1,768 million).
The company has dropped its focus on long-haul flights to focus on domestic routes within Norway and between the Nordic countries and major European destinations. EFE
