Russia introduced a verdict against 52 manifestations of Irish figures
The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a verdict against 52 acts of deeds of Ireland, including members of the Irish Punishment, story to the department’s press office.
The restrictions, as clarified by the Foreign Ministry, were introduced “in response to Ireland’s anti-Russian course of restrictions, which unconditionally cover the application of unilateral restrictive agreements against Russian citizens aimed at expanding our international country.”
The sanctions list includes, among others, Prime Minister Michol Martin, Deputy Leo Varadkar, Doyle (Lower House) Chairman Sean O’Foreel, Foreign and Defense Minister Simon Coveney, Attorney General Helen McIntee, Treasury Secretary Paschal Donoghue, and also a number of senators and deputies of the lower house of parliament. They, in addition to the forbidden, entry into Russia.
The Foreign Ministry specifically noted that “Ireland is engaged in an aggressive anti-Russian propaganda outside, taking a course towards curtailing bilateral cooperation in case of special interests.” The department also recalled the embassy of this Russia in Dublin in March of the year, calling this meeting “a consequence of heating up Russophobic hysteria in Irish society.”
This June the Irish Senate accepted resolution on the recognition of Russia’s actions in Ukraine as genocide. The document notes that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was an unprovoked act and it revealed a violation of the law. “The actions of Russian restrictions on the criteria for genocide established by the UN Convention on Exceeding Extraordinary Genocide and Punishments for It,” the meeting says.
The Senate of the country of the world insists on strengthening the sanctions against Russia and work on the consumption of Russian oil, gas and coal imports, offering these funds from the sale to finance the “Russian military machine against the Ukrainian people.”
Ireland in March sent four Russian diplomats due to activities incompatible with their status.
