There is a mini-brewery on Vtznm st, the bus will disappear in the future
A few days ago, she and the nine finalists of the architectural competition had a working meeting on the future form of the building at the Institute of Planning and Development. One of the finalists, Pavel Hnilika from the studio Pavel Hnilika Architects + Planners, also took part in this event, only to be avoided by another meeting on the reconstruction of the area of the nmst. Its new form has been known since 2018.
Mn bus
According to Hnilika, there will be big changes in the city’s public transport at Vtzni Square. And the tram line to Strahov and Suchdol will be completed (the transport company will be operational by 2025 and 2030, editor’s note), and the bus that now has to go there will disappear. Logically, there will be many bus stops, architect.
On behalf of public transport, Armda R, who has his general office and hotel at Vtznam Square, also spoke to the project. According to Hnilika, there was a problem with the location of one tram stop because of this. My transport requirements are handled by the city council. We ask the investor to connect the new building to the existing street in such a way that it does not mean a road for the neighborhood, but on the contrary, merges with it operationally, to the Mayor of Prague 6, Jakub Strek (ODS).
They were like that, if an art installation were to be created there, after speaking of the city street Ji Hannich and remembering that the farm markets must also be preserved in the city.
There is a misconception that a hall would be created for n. Something like this is quite common even in Western European cities, let’s say.
Odlin building
The VCHT has the requirements for its planned object on the Vetznam square. They wanted the new university building to be separated from the rest of the building and functionally and operationally linked to the existing buildings of the campus. We know that openness, airiness, and universality will inspire what the historical objects of the university cannot. We would like the architectural form to represent the fact that the outside of the building will be a modern technological university with top scientific employees, to Milan Pospil, VCHT vice-rector for strategy and development. The building next to the VCHT will be multifunctional. There will be a commercial parterre with apartments and offices, Hnilika’s name.
The design in question should be based on Antonn Engel’s urban planning concept of Dejvice from 1924 and take into account the contemporary requirements for construction. Quarters of it were mortgaged in the 1930s and 1940s. In the center of the circular shape, according to the original plans and following the example of other European cities, there was to be an obelisk. Penta Real Estate, Sekyra Group and Kaprain will complete the unfinished Vtznho Square.
