UDSO Annecy 2022: The Deepstack Open circuit celebrates its 100th candle
“Happy Birthday…” The players of this UDSO Annecy did not sing the little song, but the heart is there for the 100th of the Deepstack Open circuit. To reveal a little secret (an open secret for the more knowledgeable), this is not exactly the hundredth edition. But there was the Covid and other things. In short, this stage in Annecy was the perfect moment to celebrate the DSO’s anniversary.
And for the occasion, the big game was released with more tournaments than usual, and in particular a €400 Mystery Bounty at the opening. And it’s Serge Reocreux who says thank you, because it was he who won on a field of 246 players. And in addition to the €9,147.60 for his first place, he takes €17,840 in bounty! He simply shaved everyone and pulled out the big envelopes, including the biggest at €10,000. Third in this tournament, Nicolas Hamouni confirms its good form, after its victory over the FPS Divonne last month.
Results of the €400 Mystery Bounty / Prizepool: €85,017 / 246 entries / 31 ITM

2nd – Stéphane Schmitt: €6,210 + €1,640 premium

Another novelty, the UDSO Gold at €2,200. This Super High Roller of the festival started yesterday with Day 1. And as we are on a tournament Unibetthe Pro-Team Arnaud Enselme did the job and finished day one chip leader with 221,000 chips. His teammate Alexander Reard finished sixth with 148,400 chips. In total, of the 66 entries, 37 went to Day 2. But on this tournament, there are still two levels of 50 minutes of late registrations.
Thanks to the draw, the two Team Pro Unibet Arnaud Enselme and Alexander Reard are seated side by side on the UDSO Gold.
But the expected tournament is especially the Main Event, which promises to be particularly big. Illustration from the first level of Day 1A, where we are already at 137 registrations. As usual, the recipe that makes the success of the UDSO has been taken up: €550 buy-in, 50,000 starting chips and 50-minute levels.
A beautiful structure which benefited from the opening Jean-Jacques and Sandrine Zeitoun, @Mister op we @Mimips98at the table of Jeremy Palvini, who is one of four UDSO double winners seeking a third title. But he is already one of the first out of this Day 1. “He jammed 23 blinds with on an opening with who a call”they said at his table.
