Tennis, Sinner wins again: beat Cerundolo, he is in the quarterfinals in Vienna
Vincenzo Ancora Sinner Jannik. The 21-year-old from South Tyrol qualified for the quarter-finals of the ATP 500 in Vienna (fast indoor), in Austria. Sinner, world number 12 and seeded number 6, beat the Argentine in the due series Francesco Cerundolo29 in the ranking, with a score of 7-5 6-3 in an hour and a half of play.

Sinner started well (2-0) but Cerundolo immediately hung him up (2-2) and the match continued in the sign of balance. After saving a break point in the ninth game, in the twelfth the Argentine lost his serve to zero, giving the first set to Sinner. The blue rose 3-0 in the second, Cerundolo responded by snatching the opponent’s serve in the fifth game (3-2) but Jannik immediately regained the advantage then confirmed in the next game (5-2) before closing 6 -3 after saving a break point. On Friday Sinner will face the Russian in the quarterfinals Daniel Medvedev, number 4 in the world rankings and first favorite of the tournament, who in the second round beat Austrian Dominic Thiem with a double 6-3. Medvedev has won all three of the previous ones.
