Pinoké has pulled a victory out of the fire in the closing second of the neighbor dispute with Amsterdam. In the Amsterdamse Bos, the home team used the fourth penalty corner and put a final score of 2-1 on the scoreboard.
The duel between the neighbors on the Jan Toorolaan in Amstelveen was a make-up game. The meeting was rescheduled when both teams took office in Hamburg.
The Pinoké player Florent van Aubel opened the score for his own audience. He effectively rounded off a pass from Luca Wolff with a backhand (1-0).
Amsterdam, which took office without the ill Robbert Kemperman, fought back and was in full control, especially in the third quarter of the match. The guests get four penalty corners, but no circles can form.
From loved to schlemiel
In the game part, Trent Mitton finally hit the target (1-1). The Australian’s seventh goal in the league this season was worth one point.
But instead of the red angel, Trenton became the schlemiel of the match. In the very last minute of play he got a ball on the foot after a push by Alexander Hendrickx. It was the Belgian international who took full advantage of the opportunity and won the full penalty for Pinoké (2-1) with a penalty corner.
