Hannover is a little behind the leaders in the second division – Darmstadt is the leader with the selected Braunschweig coach Torsten Lieberknecht. Uwe von Holt thinks 96 can learn something here.
A little more than four years ago, our friends from Braunschweig, Torsten Lieberknecht, chased a blue-and-yellow veteran out of the yard. The former Eintracht player had been head coach at the club for ten years, he led his team to the Bundesliga in 2013, to the promotion relegation in 2017 and had to leave in 2018.
After the complicated detour via Duisburg, Lieberknecht is now in his second season with Darmstadt 98 – and currently with 28 points at the top of the 2nd division, seven to 96, ahead of Hamburger SV, three behind the Darmstadt team tied on points last season ended up in a tragic fourth place.
