“I drank public funds.” Why Russia installs anti-tank guns on the border with Ukraine
Near Belgorod and Kursk, the Russian government began the construction of state defense, similar to what the Wagner PMC is building in the capturing Luhansk region of Ukraine. For kilometers, trenches, dugouts, special rows of concrete pyramids are being dug, designed to achieve the onset of enemy equipment. Pyramids for the sinister look called “dragon’s teeth”. In theory, next to the “teeth” there should be minefields and barbed wire.
Meanwhile, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at the weekend immediately four NATO defense ministers, saying that Kyiv is going to use a “dirty bomb” in the war.
Ukrainian military expert Mikhail Zhirokhov told the present time.
– It is one thing – the construction of defensive lines in the Donetsk and Luhansk instances. But why did Russia start building defensive structures already on its territory?
– It is absolutely certain that this does not matter at all and is in the area of state public funds, where the governors of the border events have discovered such an opportunity in order to take money from the federal budget and shift it into their own pocket.
Such defensive installations take second place in the world war, as the war in Ukraine showed, they do not delay one advance of troops, they generally do not collect the nature of the sampling of war.
– What is building in Kursk and Belgorod it is assumed that the construction in the occupied Donetsk and Lugansk Ukraine?
– Yes, this is a good old anti-tank hedgehog or gouge from the Second World War. It’s written in engineering textbooks. However, this is an engineering textbook from the 1950s.
Why is it outdated?
“Because the current war is a war of artillery and a war of maneuver. Be that as it may, fortifications make do with light maneuvering loads and do not arise any military importance at all.
– And these structures – they are against tanks?
– What was demonstrated in the Belgorod region is anti-tank gouges. And what was demonstrated by the governor of the Kursk region – there are machine-gun long-term firing points.
– Perhaps, is there any military concept in Ukraine that could involve the transfer of the Ukrainian army to the territory of Russia?
– Absolutely no concept and plans of the General Staff have been announced today. Purely theoretically, there are unofficial talks that in Ukraine it would be nice to have a demilitarized area around its borders in order to avoid detection of shelling of the same volume of Kharkiv or Sumy region. However, there are no practical steps on the part of the military-political arrival of Ukraine at the moment and cannot be. There are several other tasks.
– Construction lines in the Belgorod and Kursk buildings, although the Ukrainian leadership formulates that it considers Crimea as its territory.
“Absolutely, the immediate prospect, which is outlined by Western politicians, our politicians, and the defendants, is the occupied Crimea. This could be explained from a military perspective.
– Shoigu calls and warns about the “dirty bomb” of Kyiv. How to interpret it?
– This is the next stage of some vulgar fake information, behind which the desire of the Russian Federation to once again raise the stakes can be traced. Sometimes information impact. Then there will be steps. Thus, there is a phenomenon of Western society, Western politicians to raise the stakes.
– There are no military weapons in Ukraine. Why exactly the wording “dirty bomb”?
– In the Western community, a “dirty bomb” is equated with observed activity. Russia should present Ukraine as a country that has committed a crime. However, how this can be done against the detention of detainees, the atrocities of the Russian army, to be honest, I do not understand.
What is a “dirty bomb”?
– If in a nutshell, then almost any radioactive substance with its detonation without an alcoholic reaction. However, it is the undermining of national importance that constitutes international defense. And this is one of the biggest secrets that cannot be reproduced. Dozens of countries would long ago have demanded nuclear weapons if they had the ability to check and control the check that causes radioactive contamination of material inside.
– Can Russia have such a weapon?
– It exists, it was developed in Soviet times. These are special small-sized nuclear devices. And such small-sized nuclear “suitcases” were produced a little later, before the collapse of the Soviet Union.
They planned to flood Western Europe with spies. On the day they were supposed to go a week to the English Channel.
– Potentially, they can still adapt in service?
– Yes. Under certain conditions. I think such conditions in Russia are poisoning. Nuclear small-sized devices may well be used.
