Federal 2 women: the Langres / Dijon agreement at triple gallop!
Sunday, October 23, the Langres / Stade Dijonnais agreement received Le Creusot / Autun, for the second day of Federal 2 women. The Langro/Dijonnaises largely imposed themselves (45-20) and gained confidence in view of the championship.
The least we can say is that the staff of the Gazelles did not take long to react, after a very complicated first meeting against one of the best teams in this pool.
By receiving the Le Creusot / Autun agreement, the protégés of Sabine Montenot and Anthony Pelletier, were keen to prove that their place was not usurped in this championship. After the video viewing, the players got to work which, on this day, paid off.
Faced with a team that plays a lot on their forwards, in a heavy pack, the Gazelles, with their very fine physique, were a little afraid of shocks, but the speed of execution, dexterity, support for the ball carrier and the conservation of this made it easier for them.
A successful match for Langres/Dijon
They always have this desire to score tries, to bring the ball to life and to produce play as they knew how to do at ten. They now do it at fifteen. It’s a great meeting that the spectators were witnessed: there was great play, testing and a good performance, we want more.
The Gazelles are physically well, Le Creusot can attest to that. Even if there are still a few small flaws to be corrected, such as the high tackles where they were too penal. The coaches will be on the lookout so that this does not continue. We knew that the vengeful and motivated Gazelles were the case and in a very good way: the machine is delivered and the score is final (45-20).
They will simply need a confirmation of this great enthusiasm from the next meeting, traveling to Pontarlier.
