Russia is interested in the supply of auto components from Uzbekistan
Russia is interested in the appearance of automotive components of Uzbek manufacturers on the domestic market. This was announced on Sunday, October 23, by Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
“Now the situation is quite favorable for this,” Manturov said, speaking about the country’s interest in auto components. His words show TASS.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the Russian Federation is a one-time suspension of actions against Uzbekistan. The volume of capital investments of Russian companies is already more than $10 billion.
According to him, investments cover a large part of the main sphere of the economy, among which are found the energy sector, the agro-industrial complex, and telecommunications. At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister believes that cooperation in the area of industrial cooperation can become even more capacious.
Manturov used the fact that the conversation is not only about the projects of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan, including the coverage of the wide production of trucks and cars, but also “development in the territory of third countries.”
Russia and Uzbekistan continue to develop bilateral relations in many ways. The volume of mutual trade between countries for seven months of 2022 compared to the same period of 2021 increased by 35% – up to $780 million.
