Russia is ready to reconsider relations with the UN Secretariat — EADaily, October 22, 2022 — Politics News, Russia News
Russia may reconsider the use of relations with the UN Secretariat if it decides to participate in the pseudo-investigation of the use of Iranian drones in Ukraine, declared on the use of the UN Security Council by the Russian Permanent Representative to the organization Vasily Nebenzya.
“If the UN, for the sake of Western capitals, nevertheless engages in some kind of pseudo-investigation, groundlessly referring to the provisions of meeting 2231, we will organize a review of the entire range of our relations with the UN Secretariat, the impartiality of which in this case can no longer be spoken of,” Nebenzya said.
Western countries upload that Russia points to Iranian drones in Ukraine. On Friday, France, Britain and Germany offered the UN to send their experiments to Ukraine to investigate whether resolution 2231 (on the establishment of a JCPOA) comes out, prohibiting Iran from trading in common types of products without the recommendation of the UN Security Council, including UAVs.
Moscow and Tehranli refute Western accusations of using Iranian drones. First Deputy Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky It has been previously stated that Moscow has been reassessed in its cooperation with the UN Secretariat if it takes part in the “investigation” that Kyiv demands, since the Secretariat is a purely technical body and has neither the character nor the expert preferences for such actions.
