London following the EU issued a permit against Iran for the supply of drones to Russia
The UK has sanctioned three Iranian generals and one Iran-based arms firm over information about Russia’s history of Iranian drone strikes in the Ukraine war.
The British Treasury Department has added Shahed Aviation Industries, which manufactures Shahed series unmanned aerial vehicles, to the sanctions list against Iran. They have been mentioned in the shelling of messages in Ukrainian cities, in particular, energy supply facilities in recent weeks. Their potential accounts in the EU will be frozen, and they will also be banned from traveling to member countries of the bloc.
In recent days, Russia has increased the use of Iranian Shahed-136 drones in attacks in Ukraine. At the same time, both Moscow and Tehran refute information about a deal on supplies to Russia of Iranian use.
