the Métropole de Lyon will distribute 166,000 smart control solutions for electric heating
How can you make the most of savings this winter without giving up comfort?
The Metropolis of Lyon continues its work to help the inhabitants of the agglomeration. This Tuesday, the local authority announced that it is partnering with Voltalis to be able to equip 166,000 homes free of charge with a solution for intelligent control of electric heating.
The Voltalis device takes the form of small boxes installed on each of the electric heaters in the home. A sort of connected thermostat, the device informs the user about his electricity consumption and allows him to intelligently control his heating, without changing the radiators or the energy supplier.
The Metropolis of Lyon estimates that this could help equipped households to save up to 15% on their annual bill. While absorbing up to 70% of their CO2 emissions.
In addition to individuals, businesses and offices are also affected by this system.
The Voltalis teams are going to meet the inhabitants of the agglomeration. But anyone interested in benefiting from it free of charge can contact 04 56 60 87 47 (Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or by email at [email protected].
“The partnership of the Metropolis of Lyon with Voltalis contributes directly to supporting residents and businesses in the energy transition, by allowing everyone, during this period of crisis, to save money”welcomed in advance Bruno Bernard, EELV president of the community.
