“I’m still on cloud nine”
“I find it hard to realize. In fact, I’m still a little on my little cloud and I’m coming down very slowly. But it’s only happiness. Nurse at the Saint Vincent de Paul hospital in Lille, Agathe Cauet had not held back from attempting the Miss France competition. “It’s not a world that attracted me. I was contacted on social networks and I took part in a casting. Then I was elected Saint-Amand last March and everything happened . Even the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul hospital promoted me, sent emails to everyone. There are even surgeons, doctors who have traveled”amazes the young woman.
What does she want to highlight during her year as Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais? “The values of the woman of 2023. Let us stop the prejudices about misses and defend above all the cause of the fight against cancer”“, emphasizes Agathe Cauet.
Cancer: “I come out of it stronger. I want to be the spokesperson for this cause”
A cancer that particularly affected her. at 17, she had a borderline ovarian tumor that grew to weigh 9 kilos. “It was a somewhat complicated stage of my life, but I came out of it bigger, stronger and that’s why I want to be a spokesperson for this, for this cause. I did not undergo chemo , I was lucky. Just the surgery. It was enough to heal me. The story ends well”, testifies Agathe Cauet.
