Moscow. 17 October. Interfax – Special flights of the Russian Defense Ministry delivered more than 65 tons of humanitarian aid to the capital of Afghanistan, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
“On October 16, special flights of the Russian Ministry of Defense delivered a batch of humanitarian aid to Kabul, which has a value of more than 65 tons, consisting of essential goods,” the statement on the website of the Foreign Ministry said.
The Afghan side showed gratitude for the support of allied support, the Foreign Ministry noted.
“The Russian Federation seizes humanitarian assistance to the population of Afghanistan,” the ministry said.
On July 20, special aircraft of the Russian Emergencies Ministry delivered 24 tons of humanitarian aid to Kabul to rescue from the earthquake that occurred in late June in Afghanistan. It was reported that the number of victims of the earthquake exceeded 1 thousand people, about 1.5 thousand more people returned.
Also on July 13, the Russian embassy in Afghanistan announces the arrival in Kabul with humanitarian aid from Russia. The Taliban, which is under the control of the Taliban movement (the only state news agency Bakhtar banned in the Russian Federation), specifies that 16 tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered to the Afghan capital from the Russian Federation.
