Slag scattering at the brothers-in-law: Magosi and Lovas also fought for points
An international competition was held on Saturday afternoon in the town of Sankt Johann im Pongau, near Salzburg, with the participation of Austrian, Polish, Danish, Ukrainian, Slovenian and Hungarian clay throwers, where Norbert Magosi was the only Hungarian to represent our country. 12 competitors competed in the competition, according to the organization system, 12 basic races were organized, where each slag spreader started four times.
The Debrec driver finished third in his first two attempts, then finished fourth twice, so he finished with two points and finished the competition in 11th position.
After the basic race, the first eight continued in two heats, and then the best two drivers could ride in the final. In the race of the best, the best of the home team, Daniel Gappmaier, triumphed, ahead of the Polish Robert Chmiel, the Danish Matias Nielsen and the Slovenian Nick Skorja.
Murecki is invited
Magosi – and the majority of the field from Sankt Johann im Pongau – started on Sunday in Mureck, also in Austria, where they measured their skills based on the traditional 16-rider system. The 47 Hungarian motorcyclist tried five times, three times he finished in second place, once he finished last, and once he did not participate in the stage because he could not get behind the starting line in time. In the end, 6 units were placed behind Magosi’s name, which earned him 9th place.
The Danish Matias Nielsen was able to take the top step of the podium, while Gappmaier finished in second place and Skorja in third place.
In the special races of the international competition, young slag seedlings competing with 250 cc engines scattered the slag, including Zoltán Lovas, the savior of SpeedWolf Debrecen. The 14-year-old driver from Debrecen could fight against Sven Cerjak and Tilen Bracko from Slovenia. The young people challenged each other five times, Lovas came second three times and third twice, so he ended up behind Cerjak in the finals.
