Where to celebrate Halloween in Monaco with your children this year?
Candy hunt, games, workshops, DJ evening… There is something for all ages and for all tastes!
October 31 is fast approaching! But how do we occupy our children on this very special day, where pranks, treats, witches and ghosts are on the agenda? Monaco Tribune takes stock of the various activities offered this year in the Principality:
Discovering skeletons at the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology
Who said you can’t learn while having fun? On Thursday October 27 and Wednesday November 2, young and old are invited to take part in the various workshops set up by the museum, especially for Halloween. Of course, the costume is required!
- First session on October 27, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., for the Atelier argile: “ Prehistoric hunter » and the Archaeological Excavation Workshop: “The skeletons of our ancestors”.
- From 6 years old / 20 euros per person.
- Second session on November 2, from 10 a.m. to noon, for the prehistoric painting workshop: ” Small Cro Magnon and the most terrifying animals of prehistory » and the Archaeological Excavations Workshop: « Pieces of bone hidden in the squares of excavations ».
- From 3 to 5 years old / 20 euros per person.
- Attention, the places are limited, do not wait to book by phone at +377 98 98 80 06 or by email at [email protected]
The candy hunt is open at Larvotto
What would Halloween be without the traditional “trick or treat”? The Entreparents network offers you its “Let’s Play, Halloween” on October 21, at 5 p.m., at Larvotto. Again, the apprentice monsters will have to wear their best costume and provide a small (or large) bag to collect the treats.
Because several restaurants and shops will be waiting for them: Costa Monaco, the Palais du Maillot, Interior Design by Tiziana, Beauty Angels Monaco, Neptune, La Note Bleue, the Miami Plage restaurant, La Licorne and the Glacier will be there.
The little extra? Free activities, such as a photo point, a special Halloween make-up workshop, or even the arrival of surprise characters! Note that future and young parents could take advantage of a dedicated space, with strollers, at Miami Plage.
The event is free, but online booking is mandatory to enjoy this devilishly fun moment.
Play Dia de los Muertos at Princess Antoinette Park
The Town Hall of Monaco is not of course left out, since it is offering its share of activities this year, spread over four sites in the Principality. Starting with the Princess Antoinette Park, which will welcome school children from Monaco for its 12th big Halloween game, on October 31!
La Boite de Jeux teams will be on site, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., to play “Dia de los Muertos”. Children are invited to come in disguise and defeat their batch of candies at the end of the game.
- From six years old

Nighttime adventure at the Botanical Center
The bravest could explore the Botanical Center of the Exotic Garden… but at night! The Town Hall of Monaco remains very mysterious about this second event, which will take place on October 31 in the greenhouses of the Center with, again, La Boîte de Jeux as partner.

Now on to the confection with this third idea proposed by the Town Hall, within the Monaco Media Library, and which will take place during the All Saints holidays. The place welcomes young and old for a complete Halloween program: making a grimoire, afternoon games, parent-child 4-hand workshop, or even a popcorn kids movie (all around the Halloween theme), storytelling Gaïa and Rosie, the little witches and, for older children, an evening of games inspired by horror films.
