We can have our collected mushrooms checked by a specialist in Debrecen for free – with video
Debrecen – Many people around the city have been picking mushrooms in recent days, several of whom have visited the Nagypiac’s mushroom inspector. It is worth being careful, as edible and poisonous specimens can easily be confused.
The season is in full swing, and more and more people are collecting mushrooms in the forested areas of the county. In the markets, you can check with a specialist whether what you have taken is not poisonous.
– I’m not afraid, because I know the types of mushrooms, but of course I always bring them to be examined. Now we were out training in the Great Forest, a lot grew on a tree stump, I picked it with two handfuls. We brought it and it will be a delicious dinner – explained Katalin Kvák.
Experts advise that everyone inspect the collected mushrooms before consumption. It is often very easy to confuse edible and poisonous specimens.
On the other hand, only checked goods can be placed on the market stands. Here today they offered sampion for HUF 1,200 per kilo. Those who sell mushrooms in the open field receive a certificate that their products are safe to eat.
– Every seller who brings wild mushrooms must have a primary producer’s certificate and a receipt. And after I have examined your button, you will receive a receipt for it and you can sell your mushroom lots that way – said mushroom inspector Attila Szűcs.
Hundreds of kilos of mushrooms are inspected every day in the market. How many poisonous mushrooms appear at this time varies. By the way, the test is free for everyone.
