It’s a great performance from the Violets. The Philippe Montanier’s players won a valuable point. Despite the good opportunities of Les Gones, neither Lacazette, nor Reine-Adélaïde nor Tolisso could shake the nets of Maxime Dupeauthor of seven parades.
The TFC did not shake
Despite Lyon’s offensives, the Violets held on. The match had however started badly, with a goal from Lyonnais Têtê in the 2nd minute of play. As the minutes went by, the Toulouse team developed their game, as the opponent became more and more feverish.
After a shot from Spierings on the crossbar (43rd) and a post hit by Ratao (62nd), the Violets logically broke through the Lyon defense thanks to Rafael Ratao, who entered the game after four weeks of absence. Full of composure, the Brazilian shook the nets of Anthony Lopes with a cross shot at ground level (1-1, 67th).
