At the same time, the diplomat noted that response measures “should not be mirrored”, and if necessary, it is necessary to be guided by the interests of Russia and its citizens, as well as “learn humanitarian areas”.
On July 1, Ukraine introduced a visa regime with Russia. From now on, in order to enter the country, Russians must apply at one of the VFS Global visa centers in eight cities of the Russian Federation – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don and Samara.
On September 6, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said that the High State Commission had responded to Kyiv’s decision to introduce a visa regime with Russia. The ministry clarified that Ukrainians can enter the territory of the Russian Federation without restrictions until January 1, 2023. Rudenko noted that the abolition of the visa-free regime with Ukraine would complicate entry into Russia.
