Mammas&Mammas 97th concert on the steps of SUPŠ – Prague 3
In the main staircase of the school at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, students gathered during the main break and played, sang and listened to – mostly, but not only – protest songs against the Soviet occupation. A prominent person here was the student Jaroslav Hutka. We renewed this tradition of concerts on the stairs in 2012 and once a month, now in the evening, we organize concerts of various genres here, from classical music to jazz, rock, country, to chansons and recitation. We invite conservatory students, ZUŠ and professional artists to join us. By the way, the staircase has excellent acoustics. The chamber choir Mammas&Mammas accepted our invitation. You will hear the songs of famous singers such as Hana Hegerová, Zuzana Navarová, Monika Načeva, Marie Rottrová, Radůza and others in arrangements tailor-made for the choir by its choirmaster Amálka Třebicka, music composer, chansonist and pianist. We look forward to you!
