the autumn market will take place on Sunday October 9, place François-Rude
For several years, farmers’ markets organized by producers from the Bienvenue à la ferme network, in partnership with Dijon Métropole and the City of Dijon, have been held in the city center each season. The autumn one will take place on Sunday October 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., place François Rude.
“Local producers will be particularly keen to interact with visitors”
For the occasion, about fifteen exhibitors will present and offer farm products to taste and take away: cheeses, wines, beef, crémants, jams, snails, honey, gingerbread, smoked trout or in rillettes… something to delight the palates of all gourmands.
“It’s a traditional market,” explains Claire Schwick, network facilitator. “Local producers will be particularly keen to talk with visitors about their products and the way they work. To liven up the day, a raffle will also be organized and the winners will be able to take home local products.
A special goat cheese for Pink October
La Ferme des Capri’Rêves, in Renève, is preparing for this market in a rather special way. Indeed, goat cheeses will be presented as part of the Pink October operation. “The cheese will be embellished with rose petals and honey,” explains Daphné Clair, cheese maker and breeder. “For each sale, one euro will be donated to an association that works in favor of breast cancer research. »
A completely natural approach for the young woman: “In my life before, I was a nursing assistant at the CHU. It is obvious to me to participate in this kind of event”. Moreover, on the occasion of the Telethon, another operation will be set up by the breeder.
