Chalair Aviation creates a base in Toulouse and opens three new lines
Chalair Aviation opens a new base at Toulouse-Blagnac airport. The French airline is preparing to serve Marseille, Nantes and Rennes.
Chalair Aviation opens this Monday, October 3 a new base in Toulouse. It is the fifth for the airline after those of Quimper, La Rochelle, Limoges and Bordeaux. Using two ATR 42s with 48 seats and five crews, it will operate on weekdays (Monday to Friday only) from Toulouse, two daily flights to Marseille and one daily flight to Nantes and Rennes. Average one-way price between 190 and 250 euros, cabin and checked baggage included.
Being a partner of Air France-KLM’s “Flying Blue” loyalty program, Chalair Aviation allows you to earn miles. These miles will also be doubled on departure from Toulouse throughout the month of October. An important detail, Business customers will be able to take advantage of the VIP lounges at Toulouse-Blagnac and Marseille-Provence airports. It will also benefit from the rapid access service to security checks, called Expressway.
Rude competition
On the three destinations served from Toulouse, Chalair Aviation is in competition with several other airlines. Marseille is already served by Air France and TwinJet, Nantes by easyJet, Volotea and Transavia, and Rennes by easyJet, Air France and Transavia.

Reservations for the “winter” season, which runs until March 24, are made via the airline website. Ticket sales for the “summer” season, from March 25 to October 31, 2023, will open within two months.
Chalair Aviation was created in 1986. Based in Caen in the Normandy region, it specializes in regional transport and serves twelve destinations in France. Its fleet is made up of 12 aircraft with 19 to 70 seats, Beechcraft 1900s, ATR 42s and ATR 72s. It employs 110 people.
